METHOD FOR REPRODUCING INFORMATION USING SEMICONDUCTOR PROBE AND DEVICE ADOPTING THE SAME

An information generation method using a semiconductor probe and a device applied with the method are provided to detect an available information signal by separating a signal caused by an electric field change by modulation from a signal caused by a thermal change, thereby improving an SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) as stably reproducing the information signal in spite of thermal noise. A semiconductor probe(30) has a semiconductor tip(31) whose channel is changed by an electric field generated from an information recording medium(10). A modulator(40) forms a modulated electric field by applying an RF(Radio Frequency) modulation signal to the probe(30) so as to modulate an information signal abandoned by the electric field. A signal detector(20) detects a signal generated from the probe(30). A demodulator(50) extracts the modulated information signal by the modulated electric field from the detected signal.
