A relay device having an international broadcasting roaming function in a satellite and a method therefor are provided to receive high image quality satellite broadcasting in real time in a remote station and allow a user to view the received high image quality satellite broadcasting by composing a communication device which connects a satellite with a satellite and transmitting a satellite broadcasting data stream, provided to a local station through an ISL(Inter-Satellite Link) in a geostationary satellite located in the sky of the local station, to a geostationary satellite located in the sky of the remote station. A receiving antenna(331) receives a satellite broadcasting TV signal transmitted from a terrestrial satellite broadcasting transmission station. A reception amplifying unit(332) filters the satellite broadcasting TV signal received in the receiving antenna(331), and performs the low noise amplification of the filtered signal. A signal distributing unit(333) distributes the satellite broadcasting TV filtered and amplified in the reception amplifying unit(332) to the first transmitting terminal and the second transmitting terminal. The first transmitting terminal, having a frequency converting unit A(337), a high power amplifying unit A(338), and a transmitting antenna A(339), transmits the satellite broadcasting TV signal distributed in the signal distributing unit(333) to another geostationary satellite. The second transmitting terminal, having a frequency converting unit B(334), a high power amplifying unit B(335), and a transmitting antenna B(336), transmits the satellite broadcasting TV signal distributed in the signal distributing unit(333) to a satellite broadcasting receiving terminal(34).
