<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood improved in cleaning property by having a fan driven by a motor, a casing and a collecting hood, having a duct with a jet nozzle inside, at a suction port of the collecting hood, and sucking air by an induction effect. <P>SOLUTION: The range hood has the fan 2 driven by the motor; the hood 3 for collecting oil smoke by the fan, and a filter for collecting the oil smoke; and a duct 8 having the jet nozzle 6 and a guide 7 mounted to surround the jet nozzle inside. Air is induced and sucked from the suction port 5 by an induction effect with a jet from the jet nozzle 6. As a result, air containing oil smoke does not contact the fan 2.
