<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method for efficiently decontaminating the surface of a sequestered flexible member (such as a glove) provided in a decontamination chamber (such as an isolator). <P>SOLUTION: A transparent surface 35 for detection formed at a surface 13a to be decontaminated of the glove 13 provided in the isolator 1 is irradiated with a laser beam L to monitor the photodetected quantity of light transmitted through the transparent surface 35. Then, utilizing reduction of the photodetected quantity caused by forming of a condensed film 30 on the transparent surface 35, a time of starting forming of the condensed film 30 on the glove 13 is specified to manage decontamination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
