CONNECTOR, DEVELOPING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of eliminating failure that imperfect connection occurs because of the shaving or the like of a terminal at a contact point between a connection object and a connector installed in a device which is vibrated or shocked when it is operated such as a developing device constituted to freely advance to/retreat from a photoreceptor.

SOLUTION: The developing device 1a constituted to freely advance to/retreat from a photoreceptor surface is equipped with: an outside casing 3 equipped with an internal dead space 3a in which a toner cartridge 4 is housed; a connector attaching window 3b formed on the outside casing and facing to the connection object 4a provided to the toner cartridge housed in the internal dead space; and the connector 6 equipped with a connector side terminal 7 electrically connected to a connection object side terminal when it is attached to the connector attaching window. The connector is equipped with: a base part 8 holding the connector side terminal on one surface; a case part 9 housing the base part inside; and a cushioning material 10 arranged in dead space between the outer surface of the base part and the inner surface of the case part.
