<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion module which can improve the optical characteristic of a photoelectric conversion module combined with a photoelectric conversion element while ensuring reliability as well as positioning accuracy of an optical connector, so as to enhance light utilization efficiency as a result. <P>SOLUTION: An optical coupling element supporting member 62 which is partly provided with a photoelectric conversion element and an optical coupling element 5 for optical coupling is comprised of a transparent supporting member having a plate structure and an opaque supporting member 61 having a plate structure.
