PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display and edit an image and to read a document. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an electronic album unit 10 which is capable of displaying an image and editing the displayed image; a print unit 30 which prints an image selected in the electronic album unit 10; and an image read unit 20 which reads information of a document to generate image data. The image read unit 20 reads the information of the document while feeding the document. Furthermore, the electronic album unit 10 includes: a display portion 12 for displaying an image; a keypad portion 13 comprising a plurality of keys 14 capable of instructing editing of the image displayed on the display portion 12; a memory 17 for storing a plurality of pieces of image data; and an album control portion 41 which displays the plurality of pieces of image data stored in the memory 17 as an image on the display portion 12 and edits the image in response to a signal form the keypad portion 13.
