<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify harness layout including a wheel speed sensor and to enhance applicability to an automatic brake system. <P>SOLUTION: Thrust is transmitted to a piston 17 by an actuator 18 internally installed on a caliper 11 and a controller 10 for controlling the actuator 18 is integrated with an electric disc brake 9 for generating braking force by pressing brake pads 12, 13 to a disc rotor 8 by thrust of the piston 17. A harness 35 of the wheel speed sensor 7 arranged around a hub 2 mounted with the disc rotor 8 is connected to the controller 10 and a signal of the wheel speed sensor 7 is fed to a system controller of an ABS tower via the controller 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
