GLASS FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber nonwoven fabric having excellent solvent resistance in a simple process without a formalin-based curing agent. SOLUTION: This glass fiber nonwoven fabric comprising glass fibers and a binder is characterized by using a carboxyl-modified epoxy resin as the binder and containing colloidal silica in an amount of 0.1 to 20 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the resin in the binder. The colloidal silica is preferably colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of 3 to 100 nm, and the carboxyl-modified epoxy resin is preferably a resin obtained by esterifying a bisphenol A-epichlorohydrin-based epoxy resin with a carboxyl group-having acrylic copolymer.
