PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oriented formed article such as a film having uniform thickness, having excellent surface smoothness. SOLUTION: The oriented formed article having≤100 nm maximum height Ry is obtained by subjecting a specific resin composition to orientation forming. The resin composition contains 100 pts.wt. of an alicyclic structure-containing polymer (A) and 10-40 pts.wt. of a polymer (B) incompatible with the alicyclic structure-containing polymer (A), and is regulated so that the tensile stress M<SB>A</SB>of a film comprising the alicyclic structure-containing polymer (A) at 100% strain may be 0.4-2.0 times as much as the tensile stress M<SB>B</SB>of a film comprising the polymer (B) measured under the same condition as the measuring condition of the M<SB>A</SB>.
