PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an ink level of an ink container of an inkjet printer by a high precision, and deciding an ink amount to be given. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of measuring an amount of ink given to at least one printing head 4 of the inkjet printer, and a step of measuring an amount of ink liquid droplets emitted by at least one nozzle 8 of the printing head.
