BRANCH CRUSHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch crusher that can be operated at a low noise level to reduce noise annoyance in the neighborhood in an urban area. SOLUTION: The crusher is equipped with a crushing unit for crushing a material to be crushed and a conveying unit for conveying the material to be crushed loaded at a loading inlet to the above crushing unit. A means for controlling the maximum rotation speed of an engine 31 mounted on the branch crusher in addition to a means for setting the rotation speed of the engine 31 is installed. The crusher is equipped with rotation speed detecting means 26 and 27 for detecting the rotation speed of a cutter wheel 21 of the crushing unit and an overload protector for stopping a conveying motor 36 when the rotation speed detected by the rotation speed detecting means 26 and 27 drops to a preset lower rotation speed limit and for resuming the operation of the conveying motor 35 when the rotation speed of the cutter wheel regains a preset upper rotation speed limit after the conveying unit stops.
