The device has a shovel and an arm, which are provided with respective coupling parts that cooperate for fastening the shovel to the arm. The coupling part (3) of the arm has two control devices (15, 13) for detecting a locking unit (4) in a driven position and detecting the shovel in a fixed position, respectively. The control devices are connected with each other in such a manner that a loud speaker and a light emitting diode-display are activated during detection of the locking unit in its driven position and non-detection of the shovel.
