The stripping device (40) has a seal support equipment (34) arranged in either the bearings (1,41) or back support (42) or on both the bearings and back support. The seal support equipment has swiveling rolling bodies whose tangents form an obtuse angle on respective contact points on a cable (16). Cuts are formed on the sheath of the cable during relative movement of the rolling bodies on the sheath between the stripping device and cable unreeling towards the cable longitudinal axis.
