A PWM-type light emitting device and a driving method thereof are provided to suppress a cross-talk by changing the intensity of a data current during a light emitting period. A PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)-type light emitting device includes plural pixels and a data driver(306). The pixels are formed in light emitting regions, where data lines cross scan lines. The data driver provides a PWM data current corresponding to display data to a corresponding data line during a light emitting period. The data current has a level, which is different from a reference level during at least a portion of the light emitting period. The data driver includes current sources(CS1~CS4), which generate data currents by using a driving voltage. The data driver is varied according to the change of the driving voltage. The light emitting device includes a scan driver(304) and a driving voltage changing unit.
