<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate support to a driving operation of a driver by displaying a bird's-eye view display image avoiding discontinuity in the images, in an area in which the driver particularly wants to confirm among the surrounding areas of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The images surrounding the vehicle are photographed by onboard cameras 11, 12, 13 and 14, respectively; and the plurality of photographed images photographed by the plurality of cameras 11, 12, 13 and 14 are respectively; converted into bird's-eye view images, so that the converted bird's-eye view images are connected and displayed on a display unit 40 as one continuous bird's-eye view display image.
