<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run and its mounting structure capable of enhancing stability in the mounting state of the glass run and preventing degradation of appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle door includes the glass run 2 corresponding to the outside circumferential shape of a door glass G. The glass run 2 is provided with a pair of seal lips 14, 15 for sealing between a main body portion 13 and the door glass G. The main body 13 is composed of a base portion 10, an inner side wall portion 11 extending from both ends of the base portion 10, and an outer side wall portion 12. The outside circumferential side surface 10a of the base portion 10 includes control lips 31, 32 extendedly formed in an extended condition toward the outside circumferential side and the vehicle inside from the outside circumferential side surface 10a. In the mounting state of the glass run 2, the control lips 31, 32 elastically abut against or press-contact with the wall side of an inner panel 52 facing the base portion 10, thus controlling the movement of the glass run 2 toward the inner direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
