<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a kanji character with unknown reading in a kana-kanji conversion dictionary with good operability. <P>SOLUTION: A user inputs a retrieval condition containing a value of key item (e.g., JIS code of kanji) when inputting the kanji character with unknown reading. A kanji retrieval means 12 retrieves, upon input of the retrieval condition, a kanji character matched to the retrieval condition and reading thereof from a kanji retrieval data storage part 21 registering kanji characters and reading thereof in association with values of key item used for retrieving these kanji characters, and displays the retrieved kanji and the reading on a display part 4. Accordingly, the user can recognize the reading of the kanji character. A dictionary registration means 13 registers a pair of the kanji character and reading thereof retrieved by the retrieval means 12 in the kana-kanji conversion dictionary 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
