PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device instantaneously expanding a center portion of an airbag's bag element, and promptly and certainly expanding/deploying. SOLUTION: A polygonal inside cloth formed with a gas inlet connecting to an inflator 12 is disposed between a front surface cloth and a back surface cloth sutured with each other at peripheral edge portions. A part of the peripheral edge portion of the polygonal inside cloth is sutured with the front surface cloth, and a gas outlet is provided at a part which is not sutured. Therefore, the airbag device 10 instantaneously expanding the center portion of the airbag's bag element, and promptly and certainly expanding/deploying can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
