PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic change paying machine capable of treating premium tickets such as a gift coupon or various discount tickets. SOLUTION: This machine comprises: a carrying passage 46 separately carrying premium tickets such as gift coupons put in a bill input and output port 7 one by one; a premium ticket discrimination part 48 for reading the amount of each premium ticket, arranged between the bill input and output port and a premium ticket storage 44 storing premium tickets; and the premium ticket storage 44 storing each premium ticket which was successful in the amount discrimination by the discrimination part 48.
