PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of materializing high volumetric efficiency by maintaining wall surface temperature of a fixed scroll lap low. SOLUTION: Temperature of a wall surface near an end part of a fixed scroll inner wall 6d is reduced and suction heating can be reduced, and volumetric efficiency and compression efficiency can be improved further by providing a deep groove 26 on a slide surface 29 of a fixed scroll 6 turning and sliding on a turning scroll support disk 9b at an outside of the fixed scroll lap 6b. Sliding loss between the turning scroll support disk 9b and an upper surface of the fixed scroll 6 sliding on the same can be reduced by reduction of sliding surface and mechanical efficiency can be improved.
