PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory for an external wall opening section, which not only exerts a conventional advantage of improving the appearance and design of the opening section by concealing an edge of a cladding material, but also ensures good watertightness. SOLUTION: The accessory 3 is mounted on a peripheral portion of the opening section 11 formed in an external wall 1 to conceal the edge of the cladding material 13 constituting the external wall 1. The accessory 3 has a second rise plate portion 33 and a piece member 8. The second rise plate portion 33 is a rise plate portion for concealing the edge of the cladding material 13 from a front side when mounted on the peripheral portion of the opening section 11. The piece member 8 is arranged on a rear surface of the second rise plate portion 33, and has watertightness imparted thereto, for preventing leakage from a gap between the second rise plate portion 33 and the cladding material 13 by making contact with the edge of the cladding material 13.
