PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart permanent antifouling properties to a coated surface of a building board without degrading a coat on the surface. SOLUTION: In production of the building, the surface of the building board is coated with a coating material to form the coat, and after execution of surface roughening of the coat, an antifouling agent obtained by dispersing fine silica particles in water is applied to an upper surface of the coat. In this manner the adhesiveness of an antifouling layer to the coat is improved, to thereby obtain the building board of high antifouling properties. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
