PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic response control building capable of providing the superior seismic response control and shock absorbing effect in spite of being structurally simple, being rich in workability and being inexpensive. SOLUTION: This seismic response control building damps vibration of the building by an earthquake. The whole part of a ceiling part or a roof part, a floor part and a wall part of the building is composed of grating members 4 and 5 forming a plurality of division spaces and a seismic response control panel member 2 composed of foaming plastic arranged in the respective division spaces. Thus, external force of the vibration to the whole building by the earthquake can be damped and absorbed by flexibility and elastic force of the foaming plastic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
