PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor board which has such a new constitution as to enable a tongue to be surely fitted into a groove, and as to make the degree of flatness of a floor surface properly maintained even by nailing. SOLUTION: A step part 19 is formed on the base end side of the top surface of the tongue 17 of the floor board 13, and a notch 20, the undersurface of which is a top surface 19a of the step part, is provided in a recessed manner above the step part. Preferably, the floor board has a base-plate constitution in which a veneer laminated plate 15 composed of a plurality of veneers 15a-15d is laminated and stuck on the backside of a fiber board 14 arranged on a front side. The step part is formed within the range of the thickness of the veneer laminated plate. A chamfered part 18a is formed in the upside protrusive corner part of the groove 18. A head of a nail 22 for fixing the floor board is housed in a space 23 which is formed of the chamfered part when the floor boards are tongue-and-groove-fitted together. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
