摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate a coating speed by shortening the time required to discharge ink from one ink-jet head in one cycle while securing the set coating quantity of ink per one dot when a plurality of ink-jet heads are used and ink is discharged toward the same dot position from each of ink-jet heads in one cycle. SOLUTION: The ink-jet coating method comprises: a first step of setting the total upper limit number of droplets obtained by adding the upper limit number of droplets from discharge parts 4 of a forehand group 5 of discharge parts to that of droplets from discharge parts 4 of a backhand group 5 of discharge parts as the set number of droplets on the basis of the set number of droplets to be set on a dot of the object to be printed; a second step of setting the number of droplets discharged actually from discharge parts 4 of the forehand group 5 of discharge parts and the number of droplets discharged actually from the discharge parts 4 of the backhand group 5 of discharge parts as the upper limit numbers of droplets respectively; and a third step of discharging ink from each of discharge parts 4 of the forehand group 5 and discharge parts 4 of the backhand group 5 of discharge parts so that droplets corresponding to the set number of droplets set at the first step and the upper limit numbers of droplets set at the second step reach in the same dot position.
