PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser therapy equipment capable of obtaining stable laser light output in response to the shift of adjustment of the output of therapeutic laser light, and easily adjusting the ratio of intensity of a P-polarization component to the intensity of an S-polarization component of the laser light emitted from a laser source. SOLUTION: In the laser therapy equipment, driving of the light source is controlled based on the result of detection of the laser light output emitted from an output mirror 14 of the laser light source 8 so that the output of the laser light is constant. Either the P-polarization component or the S-polarization component of the laser light with a higher intensity ratio is used as the laser light, and the laser light, whose output is adjusted by the combination of a half-wavelength plate and a polarizer, is guided to an affected area. The laser therapy equipment also has polarization detecting means 42 and 44 for detecting the intensity of either the P-polarization component or the S-polarization component of the laser light emitted from the laser light source whose intensity ratio is lower, and a control means for controlling a polarization variable means 40 so that the intensity of the detected polarization component is an allowable value.
