PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which can prevent slippage of the mattress from an installation body more securely. SOLUTION: A head region shift-inhibiting cloth 3 and/or a foot region shift-inhibiting cloth 4 are extended from a head end section and/or a toe section of a bed pad body 2, then, a saclike section 7, 8 which has an opening 5, 6 in an end is formed with the head region shift-inhibiting cloth 3 and/or the foot region shift-inhibiting cloth 4. A mattress 10 is inserted in the opening 5, 6, and the bed pad 1 can prevent shifting from the mattress 10. Especially, if both the head region shift-inhibiting cloth 3 and the foot region shift-inhibiting cloth 4 are installed, slippage to the four directions on the mattress 10 can be prevented effectively.
