PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel prescription means which is for a composition for coating keratin fibers, especially eyelash, enables quick, direct, and practical coating of eyelash (direct transition of a material to eyelash), and enables dry coating. SOLUTION: This invention is a method for coating keratin fibers, includes coating of the keratin fibers with at least one coating film of at least one composition provided in the state of a stick, and enables the dry coating of the composition. According to an alternative aspect, this invention is a method for coating keratin fibers. In the method, the keratin fibers are brought into contact with at least a part of the surface of a stick of a composition capable of being applied dry, and the relative movement between the surface of the stick and the fibers is caused so as to cause both the erosion of the composition and the coating of the fibers with at least one film in a state of being attached.
