PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having selective muscarine M3receptor antagonism, rapid in metabolic rate, quickly vanishing in blood plasma and transformable to a metabolite having weak muscarine M3antagonistic activity, thereby, hardly causing thirst and side effects to the heart, and useful as a preventive or therapeutic agent for respiratory diseases, urologic diseases, gastrointestinal diseases or central diseases. SOLUTION: The muscarine M3receptor antagonist comprises a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative represented by general formula (I) (wherein, each symbol has specified meaning), or a hydrate or solvate thereof.
