PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a role object device which excites interests of players by enabling the novel motion of a role object different from that in the past with an increase in the variation pattern of the motion. SOLUTION: The role object device 5 is provided with a first mobile role object 7 reciprocating in a prescribed direction (horizontal direction of game board 100) and a second mobile role object 8 reciprocating in a prescribed direction (longitudinal direction of game board 100) different from that of the first mobile role object 7.
