PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gardening clippers intended for decreasing noise produced by the gardening clippers without uselessly requiring a large scale motor. SOLUTION: The gardening clippers are such that a first cam 51 and a first engagement hole 61 contact at two points S3 and S4 when a moving direction reverses, a first movable member 71 moves to the diameter direction inside of the first cam according to the interference quantity with the first engagement hole, the first cam is engaged with the first engagement hole without space when a first shearing blade 41 is in a position of reversing the moving direction, the first cam is prohibited from being completely alienated from the first engagement hole when the first shearing blade reverses the moving direction, and collision noise by the first cam and the first shearing blade is remarkably decreased. A second cam 52 is engaged with a second engagement hole 62 without space when a second shearing blade 42 is in a position of reversing the moving direction, the second cam is prohibited from being completely alienated from the first engagement hole 62 when the second shearing blade reverses the moving direction, and collision noise by the second cam and the second shearing blade is remarkably decreased.
