PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of damage such as a crack to a caulking part 16 for pressing down an inner ring 3 to a shaft member 2. SOLUTION: The caulking part 16 is formed by performing plastic deformation of a cylindrical part formed at the inner end of the shaft member 2 and reduced in wall thickness toward the tip, so as to be enlarged diametrically outward. Force required for forming the caulking part 16 is reduced to hardly cause the damage, and the bearing power of the inner ring 3 by the caulking part 16 is secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
