EQUIPMENT AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SOYBEAN FLOUR

There is described an equipment as well as a process for the production of soybeans in a hammer mill comprised by rigid bars (21) hingedly coupled to one or more disks, the peripheral velocity of said bars being above 60 meters per second. The equipment comprises a perforated screen (25) with openings of a size equal to or smaller than 15 µm, placed inside the housing of the mill between the part (20) containing the hammers and the outlet opening (26), the latter being connected to a centrifugal fan (14) which aspirates said soybean flour which is pneumatically conveyed to a cyclone (17) wherein occurs the separation of the solid (powder) from the air stream, allowing the product to be packaged by means of known devices.
