<p>A compact nonpulsating pump exhibiting high discharge pressure and high capacity even when it is operated by low electric power. The pump has a pump chamber (17), a suction passage (34) for sucking liquid into the pump chamber through a suction valve (V1) opened when the liquid is sucked into the pump chamber, a discharge passage (43) for discharging liquid to the outside of the pump chamber through a discharge valve (V2) opened when the liquid is discharged from the pump chamber, a cylinder (11) communicating with the pump chamber, a plunger (12) slidably provided in the cylinder and urged to the bottom dead center side by a spring (16), and a moving element (P) for hammering the plunger upward. The moving element moves up and down through motion conversion means (20a, 20b, 20c) for converting the rotational motion of a rotating shaft (21) of an electric motor (22) into up-down motion, and the plunger being lowered is spaced apart from the moving element.</p> |
