<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic bidding system which corresponds to properties having a plurality of attributes and guarantees individual rationality of a bid opener. <P>SOLUTION: A bidder device 2 transmits evaluation values to properties including a plurality of attribute values to a bid opener device 1. When a selected property, its attribute values and an amount of the payment to the selected property are informed from the bid opener device 1, the bidder device 2 computes a benefit for the bidder based on the informed attribute values and amount of the payment, determines whether the amount of the payment is acceptable based on the benefit and informs the bid opener device 1 of the result of the determination. The bid opener device 1 generates a plurality of realizable patterns of combinations of items, which the bidder sell, and combinations of attribute values, respectively, and selects a combination of the properties and a combination of the attribute values, which both give maximum benefit to the bidder and the bid opener, from among the patterns, and computes an amount of the payment to the bidder, and informs the bidder device 2 of the respective combinations of the items and attribute values and the amount of the payment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
