<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a container made of polyester resin which is satisfactorily used even for retort processing at a temperature exceeding 120°C and reaching nearly 130°C, and which improves the productivity or the quality of retort pouch foods, and also to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The double blow molding method comprises: the primary blow molding step of subjecting a preform to biaxial stretch blow molding to mold the primary intermediate molding; the step of heating this primary intermediate molding and shrinking/molding it into the secondary intermediate molding; and the secondary blow molding step of blow-molding this secondary intermediate molding into the container.
