<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve smoother image display at the time of searching by generating image data for one frame after partially combining a plurality of image data at the time of high-speed searching, in a moving image playback apparatus capable of playing back a moving image compressed by an MPEG, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A moving image playback apparatus 10 includes a control unit 13 for specifying a plurality of image streams for one intraframe coded frame; a stream analysis unit 11a for analyzing respective sets of header information in the plurality of specified image streams, and for extracting a portion of images from each of the plurality of image streams based on the analysis result; a stream buffer 11b for temporarily stores the extracted portion of images; and a stream reconfiguration unit 11c for reconfiguring an image stream for one frame by combining the portion of images stored in the stream buffer 11b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
