PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To listen or view broadcast contents by performing access to a desired broadcasting station on a network by a simple operation. SOLUTION: Tuning information for selecting a desired network broadcasting station is displayed at a display part 14 so as to be arranged in the order of high possibility of tuning by a user. Also, this mobile terminal device is provided with a communication agent network corresponding radio communication part 1 and a short range radio communication part 2, and when the desired tuning information is selected by the user, the short-range radio communication part 2 whose communication costs are free or inexpensive is preferentially connected to the network broadcasting station corresponding to the tuning information so that the broadcast contents can be fetched. Also, the respective transmitting speeds of the communication agent network corresponding radio communication part 1 and the short range radio communication part 2 are monitored during the viewing or listening of the broadcast contents, and the radio communication part to be used for communication with the network broadcasting station is switched to the radio communication part whose transmission speed is satisfactory so that the stable viewing(listening) of the broadcast contents can be attained.
