PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform adjustment without taking a wrong input system. SOLUTION: A signal generation module M1 that is implemented by a microcomputer 24 of a television 20, generates an analog video signal capable of displaying a test pattern, so that it is not necessary to connect a signal generator or the like outside and workability is improved. Furthermore, a plurality of input systems to be adjusted are sequentially selected and adjustment parameters Pv1, Pv2 can be calculated for each of the input systems. In that case, a computer 30 and a television 20 operate correspondingly in accordance with a remote control signal, thereby preventing erroneous setting of the adjustment parameters Pv1, Pv2.
