PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncombustible sliding door device capable of opening and closing a frontage suspending a sliding door by an upper rail and being manufactured at a low cost without impairing the external appearance. SOLUTION: In the noncombustible sliding door device, a sliding door panel 5 using a paper core 6 as a core material is stuck noncombustible sheet plates 7 and 7 formed in the shape of a grain pattern on both sides thereof, an approximately portal frame body on which a sliding door 1 is put is made of a woody material, and it is constituted of a front vertical sash bar 9 erected in one side of a frontage, a middle mullion 10 erected in the other side of the frontage, a rear vertical sash bar 12 erected in a door end side of the sliding door 1, an upper sash bar 13 hung on the upper ends of these erecting sash bars and a corner sash bar 20 horizontally hung across the front vertical sash bar 9 and the middle mullion 10 of the frontage and located in the lower side of the upper sash bar 13. A groove wherein an upper edge 17 of an inspection panel 15 is fitted is formed in the lower surface of the upper sash bar, and the noncombustible sheet plates 7, etc. formed in the shape of the grain pattern are stuck on the surfaces of the sash bars.
