PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission line capable of uniformizing optical intensity distribution at an emission end even for a short optical path length. SOLUTION: This optical transmission line is equipped with an optical waveguide region that has a non-circular shape such as a triangle, an N-cornered (N is an integer≥5), or a corner-rounded M-cornered (M is an integer≥3) shape in the cross section vertical to the propagation direction of a guided light beam.
