PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare tire storage structure for an automobile, storing a spare tire in the automobile, capable of preventing carrying of a cargo from/into a cabin from being inhibited even after storage of the spare tire, without decreasing a bearing surface of a rear seat in a automobile cross direction. SOLUTION: In a rear position of a seat back 10 of the rear seat 1, a large-diameter spare tire 50 is stored in a standing state toward the automobile width direction, specifically, at an inclination angleβroughly corresponding to an inclination angleαof the seat back 10.
