The invention relates to an eye movement sensor device consisting of a helmet (1) which can be fitted to the head of a patient undergoing an ophthalmologic exam in an installation comprising a seat (10) and a screen (11) on which spots of light are projected in front of the patient. The aforementioned helmet (1) is equipped with a front light projector (2) which emits a spot of light in the direction of the screen (11) and means for recording images of each of the eyes, which register the movements from an angle that enables the eye to be seen in all of the positions thereof.Said recording means preferably comprise a video camera (6) which is disposed below the projector (2) in the helmet (1) and which focuses downwards on (i) a pair of mirrors (7) that are provided on both sides of the lower part of the helmet (1) below each eye respectively, in order to capture the specular reflection of the movements thereof, or (ii) two cameras (5) below each eye. |
