<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain an object region for an object region detecting system, method, and program. <P>SOLUTION: The object region detecting system comprises a means 101 for inputting an image frame, a means 102 for acquiring the position of the object by detecting the object in the image frame, a means 104 for acquiring at least a pair of a reference image of the image in the reference frame and the position of the object within the reference frame, a means 105 for selecting at least one or more reference frames based on evaluation criteria for reducing an overlap of the object within the image frame and the object within the reference frame from the reference frame, a means 106 for detecting differential region in which the image value of the selected reference frame is different from the image value of the image frame, a means 107 for specifying the region in which the object within the image frame exists based on the differential region, and a means 103 for storing the positions of the image frame and the object within the image frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
