<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for execution of a query. <P>SOLUTION: A database management system is provided with a query reception part 7 which receives a query and a query execution part 9 which executes the received query. The query execution part 9 dynamically generates tasks and executes the generated tasks concurrently. The query execution part 9 generates a task for acquiring data every time it requires the data of a database in the execution of the task, and issues a data-reading request for reading out the data from the database, if necessary, in the execution of the task thus generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
