<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle theft preventive device escapable outside a car at the high temperature and the low temperature unsuitable for boarding of an occupant while preventing a theft of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle theft preventive device has a door lock device 4 to be put in a dead lock state unable to open a door from the cabin inside and the cabin outside, and an on-vehicle machine 2 permitting transfer to the dead lock state by an IGN switch signal, a brake signal, a door and trunk opening-closing signal, an illumination switch signal, an intrusion sensor signal and a seat switch signal for detecting the existence of the occupant in a cabin and a detecting result of the existence of the occupant; and is provided with an outside air temperature sensor 11 detecting the temperature.
