PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil antenna unit having improved transparency of transmission/reception signals from a coil antenna by controlling an electromagnetic wave shield effect, in the coil antenna unit to be used for producing luxury in design using either a metal case or a metal-plated resin case. SOLUTION: In a coil antenna unit 1 having a coil antenna 3 including a magnetic core 6 and a coil wound onto the magnetic core, and the metal case or the metal-plated resin case disposed in the vicinity of the coil antenna 3; an insulating layer 5 is inserted in the metal case or the metal-plated resin case disposed in the periphery of the yoke of the coil antenna, and along the magnetic core, a yoke 7 longer than the magnetic core is mounted additionally.
