PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a composite filter without the need of a process for removing an optical filter layer from electromagnetic wave shielding sheet, when grounding the composite filter, and enables an exposure and grounding of the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the composite filter for display includes the processes of: laminating at least a conductor layer 12 having a region for grounding in at least one portion of mesh-like region 101 and around the mesh-like region 101 in one side of a transparent substrate 11; preparing adhesive property optical filter processed into sheets, on one side of which an adhesives layer 22 is laminated, capable of exposing at least one part of the region for grounding; exposing at least one portion of the region for grounding of the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet periphery portion in such a way that an adhesives layer side of the adhesive optical filter is directed to a conductor layer side, and that the adhesive optical filter is bonded and laminated to the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet so that the adhesive optical filter may face a portion facing display in the shielding sheet.
