PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device of an internal combustion engine capable of achieving both of protection of an engine and improvement of engine output. SOLUTION: In the ignition timing control device of the internal combustion engine for identifying a cylinder where knocking is generated and correcting ignition timing independently for each of cylinders when knocking of the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine is detected, a limit value of difference in a knocking delay amount among the cylinders in accordance with knocking detection efficiency is set for each of the cylinders in advance, and it is controlled so that the knocking delay amount of other cylinders does not exceed the limit value of the difference in the knocking delay amount among the cylinders while having the knocking delay amount of the maximum delay amount cylinder as the reference.
